16.04.2020, Serbia - On 10 April 2020, the Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted a long-awaited legal framework for the implementation of its economic stimulus package aimed at mitigating the negative impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on business, with immediate effect. 17.04.2020, Poland - Amid the shock waves sent by the COVID19 pandemic through the global and Polish economies, liquidity of borrowers and stability of the country's banking sector are among the top priorities for lawmakers and regulators. While no mandatory payment moratorium has been introduced in Poland, Polish lenders have been contributing on their own initiative by offering payment holidays and extending the maturities of existing revolvers. 05.05.2020, Bosnia & Herzegovina - On 4 May 2020, the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBIH) adopted the Law on the Mitigation of the Negative Economic Consequences of COVID-19 (Stabilization Law) in the urgent parliamentary procedure. The Stabilization Law should become effective on the next day after the day of its publication in the Official Gazette of FBiH, which is expected shortly.
