Wolf Theiss announced today a number of important promotions as well as a partner relocation and a lateral addition within the partnership. Erik Steger, the firm`s Managing Partner, noted: "These internal changes are a clear external indication of our success and standing within our markets and our continuing commitment to deliver a standard setting level of legal service across our 13 offices in Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern Europe. And there is more to come."

Relocation to the Warsaw Office: Wolf Theiss partner Ron Given will relocate to the Warsaw office on an immediate basis. Ron has served as Managing Partner of the Zagreb office since 2008, and since  2013  has  also  served  as resident  Senior  Partner  in the  firm’s Prague and Kyiv  offices. Peter  Daszkowski,  a  partner  in Warsaw,  says  that  having  Ron serve as  co-managing  partner  with  him is another solid  step  to  build  on  the  firm's local growth  and  progress. “We have a great  team  in  place  and  we  are  confident  that Ron’s  experience  and  leadership  will  enhance  and  compliment  our  work  in immeasurable  ways." Horst  Ebhardt, head of the firm’s corporate practice, adds that  Ron  has  a  unique  blend  of  international,  corporate  and  finance  experience that will make Wolf Theiss stand out in the Polish legal community. He also brings his  experience  from  Mayer  Brown,  and  as  general  counsel  of  a  Nasdaq-listed international  insurance  company,  a  unique  combination  that  will  serve  the  Polish market  well.  “We  are  confident  that  our  existing  and  future  clients  will  be responsive to Ron’s international reputation, his business acumen and his deep understanding  of  European,  American  and  Asian  markets.  We  are  very  pleased that  he  has  accepted  this new  role and  we  know  he  will  be  an  integral and strategic leader for our Warsaw team,” he says.

Managing Partner of the Zagreb Office: Luka Tadić-Čolić will assume the role of Managing Partner of the Zagreb office on an  immediate  basis. He  will  also  continue  heading  the  corporate  practice  of  that office as  he  has  done  for  a  number  of  years. Ron  Given  noted:  "Luka  has  been instrumental in the development of our terrific practice in Croatia. He is already the first  choice  among  our  clients for mandates  that really matter.  Luka's taking on  of this  important  role  concurrently   with Dalibor  Valinčić's partnership  promotion confirms Wolf Theiss'commitment to the Croatian market and further assures that our  team  there  will  remain  best  in  class." Markus  Heidinger,  a  Vienna-based partner   who   has   been   active   in   Croatia,   added that Wolf Theiss projects, procurement, shipping,  competition and   disputes work   in   Croatia particularly continues to florish. Lateral Addition to the Sofia Office: Frank  Diemer has  joined  Wolf  Theiss  as  a  partner, resident  in  the  Sofia  office. Christian Hoenig, a Vienna-based Wolf Theiss partner, said that Frank is a German and  Italian  qualified  lawyer who  practiced  for  many  years with  Italian  law  firms, including the  international  law  firm  Freshfields  in  Milan.  He  will  focus  on  helping Italian  investors  and  their advisors with CEE/SEE opportunities. "Our  regional platform  is  a  perfect  place  for  Frank  to  bring  his  valuable  experience  and  skill  set. He  is  an  accomplished  deal  maker  whose  counsel is  widely  appreciated  in  the Italian business community."
