Karolina Lapiak is a member of the Corporate/M&A and Real Estate teams. She specializes in commercial and real estate law, financial law as well as insolvency law. Her experience includes advising Polish and international clients on the sale of shares to Polish companies, in particular from capital companies, as well as on their establishment and management. She also has considerable experience in real estate law, in particular due diligence in relation to the acquisition and sale of real property for investment purposes. Karolina has participated in numerous project finance transactions, mostly on the side of the borrowers and has extensive experience in representing German insolvency administrators in Poland; for example preparing claims for exclusion from a bankruptcy estate, change of corporate form of Polish insolvency proceedings into secondary insolvency proceedings, matters of fiscal criminal liability of insolvency administrators, etc.
