About Karl

Karl is a partner in our Real Estate team. He is an award winning lawyer with vast experience in a wide range of real estate related matters.

He took a leading role in Austria’s most prominent real estate transactions of the past years. Apart from transactional work, Karl has also a proven track record with complex project developments, in particular with respect to hyper-scale data centers, automotive production sites or pharmaceutical facilities. Karl’s core competence also includes demanding project finance mandates.

Apart from his broad corporate real estate practice, Karl over the years became a trusted advisor of a number of – predominantly international – private clients, including prominent public figures, HNWI and family offices who appreciate his full service approach. Karl is also co-head of Wolf Theiss’ private client practice and is frequently involved in the acquisition of trophy real estate in Vienna and Austria’s top leisure destinations.

Prior to his career as an attorney, Karl completed his professional qualification as notary public with honours, which provides him an exceptional range of expertise. He is also co-author of the Austrian standard commentary on land register law.
