WOLF THEISS WINS "LAW FIRM OF THE YEAR" AT THE 6TH ANNUAL EUROPA PROPERTY SEE REAL ESTATE AWARDS GALA FOR 2010

Bucharest, 23 May 2011 – WOLF THEISS announces that it has won the regional real estate “Law Firm of the Year” award at Europa Property's 2010 SEE Real Estate Awards.

The 6th Annual Europa Property SEE Real Estate Awards ceremony was held on May 19 in Bucharest and brought together key market players from the real estate sector. The awards acknowledged companies for excellence in the real estate market in 2010, including legal matters in the main sectors of real estate law.

This year, Wolf Theiss was again nominated as regional real estate "Law Firm of the Year" for 2010, an award that the firm has won already for 2007 and 2008. In 2010, Wolf Theiss’ Local Managing Partner in Bucharest, Bryan Jardine, was awarded "The Overall Professional of The Year 2009“ at the same event.

The SEE Real Estate Award for "Law Firm of the Year 2010" was accepted by Bryan Jardine, who congratulated Ciprian Glodeanu, the Head of the Real Estate practice group in Bucharest, as well as the entire real estate team at Wolf Theiss. “We are very honored to again receive this prestigious award from recognized peers in the regional real estate market, in acknowledgement of the efforts and accomplishments that Wolf Theiss has achieved in this area in 2010”, said Mr. Jardine.

A jury comprised of 30 regional professionals, including bankers, lawyers, developers, brokers, architects and property investment funds professionals, considered Wolf Theiss along with the other nominated law firms and their respective accomplishments in the regional real estate sector, before giving the nod to Wolf Theiss again for the third time in four years.

At the sold-out event awards were also handed out in categories such as "Project of the Year", "Overall Retailer of the Year", "Investor of the Year" and "Developer of the Year".

Bryan Jardine spoke at the forum held earlier in the day on the "Romania Investment and Development Panel“, providing a current analysis of the rapidly developing market of Southeastern Europe and Romania in particular from the perspective of a legal consultant.
