We began tackling major transactions in the Slovak Republic many years ago, initially working in partnership with local counsel. By 2002, the demand for a local office was overwhelming. Our Bratislava practice is now staffed by over a dozen lawyers. In recent years, Slovakia has witnessed a series of big economic and legal reforms, including entry into the EU in 2004.
Today it is frequently referred to as a ‘Tiger Economy’.
